Tuition and fees at Reinhardt are $19,196 without financial aid. Fees combined with room, board, and other fees total a cost of $33,656. Other fees cover lab expenses, health services, free admission to athletic events, IT help desk assistance, and tutoring services at the Center for Student Success. The university is less expensive than the average private not-for-profit 4-year college in Georgia, but more expensive than that average public college in Georgia.

The university is among the most affordable private institutions in Georgia, made even more so by their generous financial aid program. For the 2015-16 academic year, Reinhardt awarded approximately $8 million in institutional financial aid. Almost 95% of undergraduate students received some form of financial aid in this academic year. This included an average of $14,860 in grant aid and $6,037 in federal student loan aid. Personalized financial aid counselors are available for both undergraduate and graduate students to help walk them through the financial aid process.

In addition to grants and loans, Reinhardt also offers a variety of scholarships including those based on academics, women’s leadership, art, athletics, and faith-based scholarships.

Student Experience

Reinhardt University offers two sports studies concentrations, Sports Administration and Sports Information, for those interested in studying and achieving a bachelor’s degree in Sports Sciences. These programs allow the students to study sport from a broader cultural perspective and prepare themselves for careers in various sports fields as well as leadership roles in the business and sporting community. The programs feature extensive capstone internship experience of 12 credits or 600 hours and an introductory practicum field experience of three credits or 150 hours.

Those who pursue an education in Sports Studies from Reinhardt University will learn how to practice negotiating contracts, study the theories behind fitness routines, become familiar with parts of the body, study legal questions surrounding athletic organizations, learn how to create a budget, and learn how to promote sports teams and fitness centers. Students who are interested in playing sports or athletic events and who enjoy math and logic are good candidates for the Sports Studies program. Possible careers resulting from this field of study include sports agents, sports team managers, owners of athletic centers, marketing of sports teams or facilities, and coaching.

Reinhardt has a variety of sporting teams to become involved with while students are on campus. Participating in or attending sporting events is a good way for students in this program to stay involved, get practical experience, and continue to broaden their knowledge outside the classroom. Reinhardt is part of the Appalachian Athletic Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and offers a full range of athletic opportunities for students including:
